Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstuck 144 Classique Gold Coated Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box (including outer) and booklet. The pen has never been used and is presented in virtually as new condition - the M sticker, denoting a medium nib, remains on the barrel.
The pen is crafted from black resin and the trim is gold-plated. It's an easy pen to date as it has the first-generation serial number (shorter and in a different font) along with W.Germany clip ring markings, which confirms this as a 1991-92 pen.
The pen is fitted with a 14k bi-tone fine nib and it's a cartridge / converter (supplied), so you have the best of both worlds when it comes to ink. These older 144's use a push-in converter, rather than the current screw-in style.
