Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstuck 144 Classique Bordeaux Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box (including outer) and stamped booklet - confirming first purchase on 1st February 1994. The pen has barely been used and is presented in wonderful condition - the W.Germany sticker remains on the barrel.
We've always been a huge admirer of the Bordeaux resin writing instruments and sadly as these were only produced for a limited amount of time, firstly in the early 80's and then for a second time in the 1990's - they're now more difficult to find, with most examples looking pretty tired.
W.Germany markings can be found on the clip ring.
The pen is fitted with a 14k monotone medium nib and it's a cartridge / converter (supplied), so you have the best of both worlds when it comes to ink. The pen uses the older style push-in Montblanc converter, rather than the current screw-in version.
