Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstuck 144 Classique Bordeaux Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box and stamped booklet The pen has been lightly used and is presented in overall excellent condition - there are some small marks on the gold-plated ring, by the base of the nib (common on the 144). The EF sticker, denoting a fine nib, remains on the barrel
We've always been a huge admirer of the Bordeaux resin writing instrument and this example is a real beauty! Only W.Germany markings can be found on the clip ring. Although we can't pinpoint an exact year of production, it's around the mid-to-late 1980s.
The pen is fitted with a 14k extra fine monotone nib and it's a cartridge / converter (not supplied), so you have the best of both worlds when it comes to ink.
