Thanks for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Masters of Art Vincent van Gogh Rollerball / Fineliner Pen, which comes with its large Montblanc presentation box (including outer) and stamped booklet. The pen has been lightly used and is presented in overall fantastic condition (a few very light tiny marks on the section). Only 4810 were produced and this is number 015 (a great low number!).
This edition pays tribute to Vincent van Gogh, one of the most famous painters of the 19th century. Taking its inspiration from his time in the Arles, design details include the Provencal wheatfields and one of this most iconic works, "Sunflowers". The year 1888, when he moved to Arles, is engraved on the cap ring. The barrel is finished in yellow and orange tones, with the shape of the clip being a nod to his palette knife - which he used for the more chunky 'impasto' work.
The pen is fitted with a new rollerball refill. If you'd rather use it as a fineliner, then you'd simply have to purchase the relevant refill - these are widely available online.
