Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Legend of Zodiacs The Snake Limited Edition 512 Fountain Pen, which comes with a standard Montblanc presentation box. The pen has been lightly used and is presented in overall excellent condition - the protective tape still remains on the barrel and section. Only 512 were produced and this is number 414 - 512 was chosen as its the sum total of 8x8x8 (8 being a lucky number),
Released in 2025 as part of the delightful Legend of Zodiacs collection - the pen is platinuum-coated, with the sterling silver cap being hand-engraved and representing The Snake, which is associated with long life and happiness. The cone features an inset opal, which is the birthstone of the pig. Sitting atop of the cap is the Montblanc snowcap, crafted from mother-of-pearl.
The pen is fitted with an 18k double broad nib and it’s a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
