Thanks for looking at our listing for this Montblanc La Donna Ingrid Bergman Special Edition Ballpoint Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box (including outer) and stamped booklet - confirming first purchase on 19th November 2009. The pen has barely been used and is presented in wonderful condition.
The cap is coated in a mother of pearl style lacquer, with the pattern resembling the distinctive skirts that Bergman liked to wear - her signature is also engraved in to the cap. The barrel of the pen is crafted from black precious, which offers a wonderful contrast. The metal trim is red gold plated and it's topped off with an amethyst on the clip which is supposed to symbolise calmness, clarity and tolerance – traits for which Bergman was known and loved all over the world.
The usual markings are present with its unique serial number on the clip ring - the Montblanc emblem sits atop the pen.
The pen is fitted with a new refill.
