Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montbanc Heritage Rouge et Noir Baby Black Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box (including outer), soft pouch and booklet - confirming first purchase on 24th December 2023. The original owner had the nib changed from a medium to an extra fine, at the point of initial purchase, and then only dipped it once to test... as such the pen is presented in essentially as new condition.
The Rouge et Noir names dates back to 1906 and the original 'Baby' pens of the 1920s are the inspiration for this new model. The pen is crafted from black lacquer with the section and trim being platinum-plated. Coral-hued resin surround the snowcap. The cap can be screwed on to the barrel to create a full size pen.
The pen is fitted with a 14k extra fine nib and it's a cartridge only filler.
