Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Heritage Egyptomania Special Edition Black Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box (including outers) and unstamped booklet. The pen has never been used and is presented in essentially as new condition - the F sticker, denoting a fine nib, remains on the cone and the protective tape can be found on the section.
The Egyptomania collection is a more recent addition to the Heritage lineup. Taking the same, slimmer silhouette, found on the Rouge et Noir pens, but using an octagonal design. The inspiration for these pens comes from the so-called ‘Egyptian pens’ from the 1920′. The barrel and cap are crafted from black precious resin, with the hieroglyphics spelling out “Montblanc”. A scarab beetle can be found on the clip.
The pen is fitted with a 14k fine nib and it's a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
