Thanks for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Great Characters The Beatles Special Edition Fountain Pen, which comes with its large Montblanc presentation box (including outers), booklet and warranty card. The pen is presented in overall fantastic condition... there are a couple of small areas on the cap where it looks like ink has stained the stripes (shown in the photos), hence the lower price.
The pen is crafted from multi-striped lacquer, which is a nod to the colours on The Beatles uniform on the cover of their famous album Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band and Love Me Do.
The piston cone is inspired by the button of the mixing table at the famous Abbey Road studios, whilst the cap takes inspiration from the studios microphone. The ruthenium-coated clip symbolises the iconic Beatles moustache.
The pen is fitted with a 14k medium nib and it’s a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
The important details are as follows…
– Medium Nib
– Fantastic Condition (stains on the cap)
With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller.
