Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Great Characters Enzo Ferrari Special Edition Fountain Pen, which comes with its large Montblanc presentation box (including outers) and stamped booklet - confirming first purchase on 11th February 2022. The pen has never been used and is presented in essentially as new condition - the M sticker, denoting a medium nib, remains on the cone.
The Great Characters series has seen many famous names honoured by Montblanc and the Enzo Ferrari is one of the latest offerings.
The colour scheme is inspired by the iconic ‘Rosso 70 ani’ red that Ferrari are so well known for. The cap top features the Montblanc snowcap embedded in to a metal grid on yellow resin, paying homage to the city of Modena and representing a vintage car grille.
The iconic prancing horse is on the reverse of the cap and the clip features a famous quote from Enzo that reads “You cannot describe passion, you can only live it”. The cone has two important dates in his early career and the cap top has the engraving “Officina Meccanica Alfredo Ferrari”.
The pen is fitted with a 14k medium nib and it's a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
