Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Great Characters Enzo Ferrari Giallo Modens Special Edition Fountain Pen, which comes with a standard Montblanc presentation box. The pen has carefully used and is presented in overall lovely condition - it's recently returned from Montblanc in Hamburg where the nib was replaced, as the ruthenium coating had partially come away on the original nib (the paperwork will be supplied).
The Great Characters series has seen many famous names honoured by Montblanc and the Enzo Ferrari is one of the latest offerings.
The colour scheme is inspired the logo of Scuderia Ferrari, with the vibrant yellow working brilliantly with the ruthenium-coated trim. The cone is engraved with the dates of Enzo Ferrari's birth and his first racing victory. The cap top features the Montblanc snowcap embedded in to a metal grid on blue resin, paying homage to the city of Modena and representing a vintage car grille.
The iconic prancing horse is on the reverse of the cap and the clip features a famous quote from Enzo that reads “You cannot describe passion, you can only live it”.
The pen is fitted with a 14k medium nib and it's a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
