Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Donation Series Arturo Toscanini Fountain Pen, which comes with an IZODS presentation box. The pen has been regularly, but carefully used, and is presented in overall very good condition.
Part of the Donation Series, this pen pays tribute to the legendary Italian conductor, Arturo Toscanini. His career spanned some seven decades and included more than one hundred operas and nearly 500 works for concert halls.
The clip is shaped like the strings and string holder of a cello and his signature can be found engraved on the cap band. The dates 1867 – 1957, signifying his year of birth and death are also engraved on the cap band.
The pen is fitted with an 18k fine nib and being a piston filler, your choice here is bottled ink.
