Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Donation Series Arturo Toscanini Special Edition Ballpoint Pen, which comes with its large Montblanc presentation box, information booklet, medal and unstamped service guide. The pen has been lightly used and is presented in excellent condition - there is a very small gap between the cap and barrel (shown in the photos), hence the special price.
Part of the Donation Series, this pen pays tribute to the legendary Italian conductor, Arturo Toscanini. His career spanned some seven decades and included more than one hundred operas and nearly 500 works for concert halls.
The clip is shaped like the strings and string holder of a cello and his signature can be found engraved on the cap band. The dates 1867 – 1957, signifying his year of birth and death are also engraved on the cap band.
The pen is fitted with a new refill.
