Thanks for looking at our listing for this delightful Montblanc Carrera Lilac Steel Fountain Pen and Ballpoint Pen Set, which comes with its presentation box (some wear to the plastic inner tray) and zip-up pouch. The set has never been used and is presented in wonderful condition - the EF sticker, denoting an extra fine nib, remains on the barrel of the fountain pen.
The Carrera pens are sadly no longer part of the Montblanc model lineup (originally launched in the 1970s) and this is an absolutely delightful set. We sell thousands of Montblanc pens each year, but sometimes there are examples that aren't the rarest or have the highest price point, but make us really smile! This set is a great example - the barrel on each pen is crafted from a lilac resin with the remainder being brushed steel. The clip features the same houndstooth pattern found on the included zip-up pouch.
The fountain pen is fitted with a steel extra fine nib and it's a cartridge / converter (non-MB branded included). The ballpoint pen comes with a new refill and we've included the neccessary adaptor to be able to use the modern Montblanc refills.
