Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this delightful Montblanc Boheme Jewels Amethyst Leather Fountain Pen and Two Pen Leather Pouch Set , which comes with a large, lacquered Montblanc presentation box (including outer), booklet and stamped service guide - confirming first purchase on 20th December 2008. Neither the pouch nor the pen have been used and are presented in essentially as new - the M sticker, denoting a medium nib, remains on the cone and the empty demonstration cartridge is inside the pen.
The Boheme fountain pens were available in three sizes - essentially small, medium and large. This is the small, which is the version that features the retractable nib mechanism. As such it's cartridge only.
The Jewels Amethyst was originally launched in 2004 and it features a vibrant violet calfskin barrel, with platinum-plated stitching. The cap is platinum plated and the clip features a synthetic marquise cut amethyst.
The pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib.
