Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Boheme Je t’aime Sterling Silver Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box (including outer - some light wear to this). The pen has never been used and is presented in virtually as new condition - the M sticker, denoting a medium nib, remains on the cone and the empty demonstration cartridge is inside the pen.
The Boheme fountain pens were available in three sizes – essentially small, medium and large. This is the small (the most common) and it features the ingenious retractable nib, which was modelled on this historic safety pens. To raise or lower the nib unit, you simply turn the end of the pen – when not in use the nib is fully retracted. This is a cartridge filling pen.
The Je t’aime was released in 2001 and this is the rare sterling silver version (they also produced a black resin model), which has a heart shaped synthetic pink sapphire on the clip … hence the model name!
Both serial number and France markings can be found on the clip ring. The pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib, which has a heart shaped breather hole.
