Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Boheme Doue Ligne Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box. The pen is presented in overall fantastic condition - there is a small mark on the gold ring at the base of the nib (common on Boheme's) and a very small point to note, is that the cap screws on to the pen a couple of millimetres short of usual (shown in the photos) - it's completely securely, but we simply mention it for a complete description. The M sticker, denoting a medium nib, remains on the cone.
The Boheme fountain pens were available in three sizes – essentially small, medium and large. This is the small (the most common) and it features the ingenious retractable nib, which was modelled on this historic safety pens. To raise or lower the nib unit, you simply turn the end of the pen – when not in use the nib is fully retracted. This is a cartridge filling pen.
The Doue Ligne was the last resin based Boheme model to be launched, with it first appearing in 2008. The barrel is crafted from a dark brown resin, with the cap being Champagne-gold coated. Both the barrel and cap have a striped design. The clip features a synthetic citrine gemstone.
The pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib and it's a cartridge filler.
