Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Boheme Akoya Pearl Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box (including outer) and unstamped service guide. The pen has barely been used and is presented in wonderful condition - the F sticker, denoting a fine nib, remains on the cone.
The Akoya Pearl is one of the most eye-catching releases in the Boheme range and was introduced in 2005. The barrel has a pearlised lacquer finish, with a circular guilloche pattern. The gold-plated cap echoes the same guilloche pattern, with the clip featuring an Akoya Pearl. The trim is gold-plated.
The Boheme fountain pens were available in three sizes - essentially small, medium and large. This is the small, which is the version that features the retractable nib mechanism. As such it's cartridge only.
Both serial number and Germany markings can be found on the clip ring. The pen is fitted with an 18k fine nib.
