Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc 221 Bordeaux Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box and information leaflet. The pen has been lightly used over the decades and is presented in excellent condition. The EF sticker, denoting an extra fine nib, remains on the barrel.
The pen dates from the 1970's, when Montblanc produced a larger range of more entry level pens... this appears to be a 221, although the cap ring isn't engraved with those numbers. There were so many small variations during the years of production, that this isn't unexpected.There's so much to enjoy with these pens and this example is crafted from Bordeaux resin. The trim is gold-coated.
The pen is fitted with a 14k extra fine nib and it's a cartridge / converter (not supplied), so you have the best of both worlds when it comes to ink.
