The Delta Pietro Vannucci "Il Perugino" Fountain Pen is limited to only 188 examples. Celebrating the 500th anniversary of one of the great masters of Italian Art, the pen is hand-crafted from solid resin bars.
The pen evokes colours and architectural decorative elements present in most of the extraordinary works of "Il Perugino".
The cap band is gold plated 925 sterling silver (vermeil), made according to the ancient techniques of craftsmanship of goldsmith art, known as “lost wax”.
The cap is enriched by a clip that presents a precious stone of an intense ruby red color, and a cabochon, both made in "lost wax" fusion.
At the end of the barrel can be found an "octagonal" decoration representing the geometric symbolism typical of "Il Perugino", the same decoration that is engraved on the barrel.
The pen is a piston filler and a visible ink window ensures that you can see the remaining level at any time.
