Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this rare Sheaffer Commemorative Limited Edition Fountain Pen, which comes with its large wooden presentation box (including outers), bottle of Skrip ink and information leaflet. The pen been very lightly used and is presented in excellent condition. It’s just returned from the Battersea Pen Home, where it was fully serviced, and the paperwork will be included – this gives the purchaser a 12 month warranty, dated from 9th July 2021.

These pens were released in the 1995 and only 6000 were produced (this is number 5633). The cap and barrel have a brass base, which is then gold-plated and engraved with a distinctive patterned finish. Many of the historical design features, such as the ball clip, have been retained and the Sheaffer patent number, 896,861 is engraved on the barrel.

The pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib and it’s a lever filler, so bottled ink is your choice here.
