Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Visconti Homo Sapiens Lava Tuff Fountain Pen, which comes with its Visconti presentation box and information booklet – confirming first purchase on 3rd October 2022. The pen has been very lightly used and is presented in overall fantastic condition.

The Colours collection is a relatively recent addition to the iconic Homo Sapiens lineup. The barrel and cap are crafted from the same balsatic lava from Mt.Etna, but this example has a brown, almost caramel like finish. The trim is ruthenium plated.

The pen features the patented power filler – you simply unscrew the end of the barrel, pull up the rod, place the nib in an ink bottle and push the rod back down to fill! It’s one of our favourite filling systems and the ink capacity is huge.

The pen is fitted with a 14k extra fine nib.
