Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Pelikan Souveran Blue Black Fountain Pen, which comes with an IZODS presentation box and its booklet. The pen has been lightly used and is presented in overall excellent condition – there are a couple of small marks on the cap.

The pen features a blue striated barrel, with the cap being black resin. The trim is gold-plated. The blue striated version of the M800 was introduced in 1996 and this example has features dating it to 1997 at the latest – this includes Germany cap ring branding, the barrel cone medallion and PF nib marking.

One of the fantastic features of Pelikan pens is that the nib unit can be unscrewed – this makes it both incredibly simple to clean and you can also change nibs in seconds!

The pen is fitted with an 18C fine nib and the M800 is a piston filling pen, so the choice here is bottled ink.
