Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this delightful Pelikan Souveran M650 Vermeil Green Black Fountain Pen, which comes with its Pelikan presentation box (including outer) and stamped booklet – confirming first purchase on 15th August 2000. The pen has been very lightly used and is presented in fantastic condition.

The M650 pens were first released in 1997 and are now increasingly difficult to find. This version features a green striated barrel, with the cap being sterling silver, which is then gold-plated. The trim is gold-plated. The nib has been changed at some point in its life as the M650 pens usually came with 18c nibs.

One of the fantastic features of Pelikan pens is that the nib unit can be unscrewed – this makes it both incredibly simple to clean and you can also change nibs in seconds!

The pen is fitted with a 14c oblique broad nib and it’s a piston filling pen, so the choice here is bottled ink.
