Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Parker International Orange Fountain Pen and Mechanical Pencil Set, which comes with its wooden Parker presentation box. The date code on the cap of the fountain pen is IU and this confirms a production period of Q3 1991. The pencil has the code IQ, so a Q3 1990 pencil. The pen has been very lightly used and is presented in fantastic condition and the mechanical pencil is unused.

Parker have a long, rich heritage of creating impressive writing instruments and the Duofold range is at the heart of this. With its incredibly detailed production process, including 130 components and 100 quality control tests.

Both writing instruments are crafted from a vibrant orange resin with the trim being gold-plated.

The fountain pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib and it’s a cartridge / converter (supplied) filler, so you have the best of both worlds.
