Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Parker Duofold Centennial Mandarin Yellow Limited Edition Fountain Pen, which comes its Parker presentation box (including outer), limitation certificates and even the original purchase receipt. The pen has been carefully used and is presented in overall lovely condition – it’s offered at a special price due to some light ink staining on the barrel and a small mark also on the barrel (shown in the photos), there is also some ink staining inside the cap. Only 10000 were produced and this is number 7247.
Parker have a long, rich heritage of creating impressive writing instruments and the Duofold range is at the heart of this. With its incredibly detailed production process, including 130 components and 100 quality control tests.
This limited edition was released in 1995 and it features three sold gold cap rings. Using the legendary Mandarin coloured resin for its barrel and cap… the colour that was chosen by George Parker for the original Mandarin Duofold after his Far Eastern travels. It has the lucky curve ribbon imprint on the barrel, where the limitation number can also be found.
The fountain pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib and it’s a cartridge / converter (supplied) filler, so you have the best of both worlds.
