Description
Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Parker Centennial Black Gold Trim Fountain Pen, which comes with an IZODS presentation box – the date code on the cap of IE (this is incredibly faint) confirms a production period of Q3 1988. The pen has been carefully used over the years and is presented in overall lovely condition.
Parker have a long, rich heritage of creating impressive writing instruments and the Duofold range is at the heart of this. With its incredibly detailed production process, including 130 components and 100 quality control tests.
The barrel and cap are crafted from black resin with the trim being gold-plated.
The fountain pen is fitted with an 18k fine nib and it’s a cartridge / converter (supplied) filler, so you have the best of both worlds.
The important details are as follows…
Condition: Lovely
Box: IZODS
Nib: Fine
With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
