Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this delightful Omas Dama 75th Anniversary Sterling Silver Vermeil Fountain Pen, which comes with a modern OMAS presentation box. The pen has been regularly, but carefully used, and is presented in overall lovely condition.

OMAS require no introduction and since their sad demise in January 2016, the hunger from fans and collectors for great examples of their writing instruments has increased dramatically! The company was founded by Armando Simoni and the full name was Officina Meccanica Armando Simoni, abbreviated to OMAS. The brand name has been relaunched recently and the box is from the modern relaunch.

The Vermeil pens are rarely seen, with the barrel and cap being sterling silver, which is then gold coated. The Dama is one of the smallest offerings, measuring approx 11.8cms with the cap attached.

The pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib and it’s a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
