Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this extremely rare Nakaya Long Cigar Akebono ‘Skeleton’ Red and Black Fountain Pen, which comes with its wooden presentation box (including outer) and pen kimono. The pen has barely been used and is presented in virtually as new condition.

Nakaya require no introduction and if you’ve got this far then likely you’ll be familiar with their wonderful writing instruments. This pen is produced in Wajima, renowned for lacquer work. Unlike most other Nakaya pens, which are produced from ebonite, this one uses a semi-transparent black and red acrylic, which then has two colours painted on top.

The pen is fitted with a 14k music nib and it’s a cartridge / converter pen, so your choice here is bottled ink.
