Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this wonderful Montegrappa Invito A La Traviata Sterling Silver Limited Edition Fountain Pen, which comes with its large Montegrappa presentation box (including outer), certificate and information booklet. The pen has been lightly used and is presented in overall excellent condition. Only 1912 were produced and this is number 0137.

Paying tribute to the Giuseppe Verde opera, La Traviata, this is a richly detailed pen – the barrel and cap are crafted from sterling silver, with an engraved design that includes a burin engraving of Violetta Valery. The engraving work is an absolute delight and the pen manages to be both intricate and restrained at the same time. The section, cone and cap ring are crafted from red celluloid.

The pen is fitted with a fine 18k nib and it’s a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
