Description
Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this wonderful Montegrappa Ernest Hemingway Sterling Silver Celluloid LE100 Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montegrappa presentation box (including outers – a little wear to these), polishing cloth and unstamped information booklet. The pen has never been used and is presented in virtually as new condition. Only 100 were produced and this is number 075.
Part of the Ernest Hemingway collection, this is the deeply impressive Traveller version. It’s crafted from sterling silver, which is engraved with airplanes, maps, passports and 11 locations associated with him. Sitting atop the cap is an engraving of a compass. The section is produced from charcoal celluloid.
The pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib and it’s a cartridge / converter (supplied), so you have the best of both worlds when it comes to ink.
The important details are as follows…
Condition: Virtually As New
Box: Montegrappa
Nib: Medium
With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
