Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this wonderful Montegrappa Cosmopolitan II Aboriginal Sterling Silver Limited Edition Fountain Pen, which comes with its wooden Montegrappa presentation box (including outer), certificate and information booklet. The pen has been lightly used and is presented in overall excellent condition. Only 500 were produced and this is number 281.
Part of the Cosmopolitan collection, this is from the second series and is a celebration of Aboriginal culture – the barrel and cap are crafted from sterling silver, with an engraved design that includes foliage and a winding snake. The engraving work is an absolute delight and the pen manages to be both intricate and restrained at the same time.
The pen is fitted with a medium 18k nib and it’s a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
