Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this wonderful Montblanc Writers Edition William Shakespeare Ballpoint Pen, which comes with its book style Montblanc presentation box (including outer) and a standard service guide – confirming first purchase on 30th November 2016. The pen has been lightly used and presented in overall excellent condition. Only 9000 pens were produced and this is number 0907. There are some light marks to the presentation box.

Ever year Montblanc honour a great literary figure, as part of their writers limited edition. In 2016 it was William Shakespeare.

The black and white design is a nod to the flags that flew at the Globe Theatre, with white for comedy and black for tragedy. The clip is inspired by his signature earring and the octagonal cap is also a reference to the Globe. The gold-plated ring has several references to his plays.

The pen is fitted with a new refill.
