Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this wonderful Montblanc Writers Edition Marcel Proust Fountain Pen, which comes with its book style Montblanc presentation box (the hinge is partially broken) and unstamped information booklet. The pen has barely been used and is presented in wonderful condition – the F sticker, denoting a fine nib, remains on the cone. Only 21000 pens were produced and this is number 19403.

Launched in 1999, as the yearly offering from the Montblanc Writers Edition, the Marcel Proust has rightly taken on legendary status. The eight-sided barrel is crafted from sterling silver and feature ornate engravings reminiscent of the time when Proust was at his most creative. His signature can also be found engraved on the barrel.

The pen is fitted with an 18k fine nib and it’s a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
