Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Writers Edition Jules Verne Fountain Pen, which comes with its book-style Montblanc presentation box (including outers) and stamped booklet – confirming first purchase on 6th March 2003. The pen has been very lightly used and is presented in fantastic condition. Only 18500 were produced and this is number 06551.

Launched in 2003, as the yearly offering for the Montblanc Writers Edition, the Jules Verne is one of the most iconic and recognisable releases in the series.

With its shimmering blue lacquered finish, complete with wave inspired guilloche design. The trim is platinum-coated. The pen is based on his most famous novel “Twenty Thousand Leagues under the Sea”.

The pen is fitted with an 18k broad nib (this was swapped from a medium at initial purchase), which features an engraving of a divers helmet. It’s a piston filling pen, so your choice here is bottled ink.
