Description
Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this glorious Montblanc Patron of Art Nicolaus Copernicus 4810 Limited Edition Fountain Pen, which comes with its lacquered presentation box (including outer). As with other POA pens, only 4810 were produced and this is number 1034. The pen has been carefully used and is presented in overall lovely condition.
In 2003, Montblanc honoured Nicolaus Copernicus, with the pen taking inspiration for his model of the universe. The pens rings and trim are crafted from sterling silver, with the remainder of the pen being finished in an anthracite-coloured lacquer. The mother-of-pearl snowcap sits atop the cap.
The 18k medium nib features an engraving of his orbital charts and it’s a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.

With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
