Description
Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Patron of Art 888 Joseph II Limited Edition Fountain Pen, which comes with its lacquered presentation box and information booklet – confirming first purchase on 14th February 2014. As with other POA pens, only 888 were produced and this is number 060. The pen has never been used and is presented in wonderful condition – a few incredbly light marks on the section (shown in the photos), also a few small marks to the outside of the box.
In 2012, Montblanc honoured the legendary Roman Emperor, Joseph II. The design takes its inspiration from the Royal crest and the imperial coat of arms. The pen is crafted from white gold and sterling silver, with a vibrant blue and white lacquered design. The cap top is reminiscent of the Imperial Crown and the Montblanc snowcap is crafted from mother-of-pearl. Sitting at the end of the clip can be found a sapphire.
The pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib and it’s a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
