Description
Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Patron of Art 4810 Homage to Moctezuma I Limited Edition Fountain Pen, which comes with it’s large presentation box (including outers) and information booklet. The pen has never been used and is presented in new sealed condition – even the outer box was only unsealed to take photos. Only 4810 were produced and this is number 3167.
Arguably the most distinctive of all the Patron of Art pens, the Moctezuma pays tribute to this legendary Aztec leader. The shape is inspired by the atlatl, a spear-shaped throwing device. The combination of hammered finish and blue and red colourscheme (inspired by the colours of the royal cloak). The two hieroglyphs on the cap symbolise the years of his reign.
The pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib and it’s a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.

With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
