Description
Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Patron of Art 4810 Elizabeth I Limited Edition Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box (including outer) and stamped booklet. The pen has never been used and is presented in essentially as new condition – the protective tape remains on the section and the M sticker, denoting a medium nib, remains on the cone. As with other POA pens, only 4810 were produced and this is number 2955.
In 2010, Montblanc honoured Queen Elizabeth I and this is now regarded as one of the most sought-after of all the Patron of Art series. The lacquered finish is inspirited by her royal garments, with the Tudor rose and cross of the crown on the cap. The term “Video et taceo” is engraved on the cap ring. The engravings on the gold-plated trim are a nod to her childhood days, specifically referring to the artistic embroidery of the book “The Glass of the Sinful Soul”, the book that she designed at the age of 11.
The 18k medium nib has an engraving of a royal crown and it’s a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.

With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
