Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Patron of Art 4810 Elizabeth I Limited Edition Fountain Pen, which comes with its Elizabeth I Montblanc presentation box (a few very light marks to the top of this). The pen has never been used and is presented in virtually as new condition – the protective tape remains on the grip section and the F sticker, confirming a fine nib, can be found on the piston cone. Only 4810 were produced and this is number 2365.
In 2010, Montblanc honoured one of the most famous monarchs in history, Elizabeth I. The lacquered finish to the barrel and cap is modelled on her royal garments, with the Tudor rose and the cross of the crown, being found on the cap. The clip is finished with a green cabochon.
The design of the pen also gives a nod to her childhood, with gold-plated engravings of the artistic embroidery from “The Glass of the Sinful Soul”, which was a book that Elizabeth designed at the age of 11.
The 18k fine nib has an engraving of the royal crown. It’s a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
This really is a wonderfully detailed writing instrument and is one of the most sought-after Patron of Arts pens.

With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
