Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Patron of Art 4810 Sir Henry Tate Fountain Pen, which comes with a standard Montblanc presentation box (including outer). The pen has just returned from being serviced and having a new nib fitted, by Montblanc in Hamburg (the paperwork will be supplied to the purchaser). The pen has been carefully used and is presented in overall excellent condition. Only 4810 were produced and this is number 3416.

The pen was released in 2006 as part of the Patron of Art series. This edition pays tribute to the legendary sugar trader, Henry Tate. The design of the pen takes its inspiration from the neoclassical architecture of Tate Britain, with it being platinum-plated and featuring vibrant red lacquered guilloche inlays.

The pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib, which is engraved with two sugar canes, and it’s a cartridge filler. It features the same rectractable nib mechanism found on the Boheme range.
