Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstuck 144 Classique Jungle Eyes Citrine Fountain Pen, which comes with an IZODS presentation box. The pen has been carefully used and is presented in overall lovely condition – the M sticker, confirming a medium nib, remains on the barrel. The pen has just been serviced by Montblanc in Hamburg (the paperwork will be supplied), where the section was also replaced,

If you’re not familiar with the Jungle Eyes range, then here’s a very quick introduction. Introduced in 2001, the Jungle Eyes pens are supposed to reflect the glow of animal eyes found in the jungle. These pens are part of what Montblanc call their Artisan Collection and the materials used reflect this premium name… both the barrel and cap are made from stainless steel (palladium plated) with the trim being platinum plated. One of the crowning glories of the pen is the beautiful precious madeira palmera citrine gemstone, which was chosen to reflect a tigers eye. The other is the wonderful mother-of-pearl snowcap logo – Montblanc rarely include this on their pens (usually it’s constructed from white resin) but when they do it really elevates the whole look of the pen to another level.

Each Jungle Eyes pen is individually numbered and the correct serial number and Germany markings.

The pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib and it’s a cartridge / converter (supplied), so you have the best of both worlds when it comes to ink.
