Description
Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstück 149 Gold-Coated UNICEF Tom Sachs LE4810 Fountain Pen, which comes with special Tom Sachs Montblanc presentation box (including outers) and stamped booklet – confirming first purchase on 23rd December 2015. The pen has been carefully used and is presented in overall excellent condition (a few light marks on the cap) – there is some staining to the inner lining from the included ink bottle. Only 4810 were produced and this is number 1903 – on these, the limitation number wasn’t ever printed on the pen, simply on the overall packaging.
As part of the partnership with UNICEF, Montblanc worked with three designers to create special packaging for the 149. The Tom Sachs version, as with many of his other offerings, uses materials that to some would appear ‘raw’ in their appearance… but we love it.
The pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib and it’s a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
The important details are as follows…
18k Tri-Tone Medium Nib
Piston Filling System
Montblanc Presentation Box included
Excellent Condition
With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
