Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstuck 146 LeGrand Gold Line Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box (including outer) and unstamped booklet. The pen originally dates to the 1980s, however the previous owner recently sent the pen to Montblanc in Hamburg (it doesn’t appear to have been used since) where the barrel, cone, feed and main resin element of the cap were replaced.
The clip ring features only Germany markings.
The 146 is a piston filling pen, which means that bottled ink is your choice here. The pen is fitted with a 14k monotone medium nib.
The important details are as follows…
– 14k Monotone Medium Nib
– Montblanc Presentation Box
– Fantastic Condition
With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
