Thanks very much for looking at this wonderful Montblanc Heritage Collection Rouge et Noir Tropic Brown Ballpoint Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box (including outers) and stamped service guide – confirming first purchase on 17th March 2021. The pen has been very lightly used and is presented in overall fantastic condition.

The Rouge et Noir name dates back to 1906 and Montblanc have resurrected the name for the 110th anniversary. The most obvious nod to these historical offerings is the winding serpent clip (featuring garnet eyes), which on this model is Champagne gold-coated. The resin on this example is brown, rather than the more traditional black, and here at IZODS we have to say we love the difference! The brown was chosen to represent how vintage black ebonite pens age when in sunny and humid environments.

The pen is fitted with a new refill.
