Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Charles Dickens Writers Edition Fountain Pen, Ballpoint Pen and Mechanical Pencil, which comes with its Montblanc book-style presentation box (including outers) and stamped service guide – confirming first purchase on 11th April 2002. All three writing instruments have never been used and are presented in wonderful condition. All have the limitation number 01593.

The Victorian era is generally viewed as one of the most outstanding periods of English culture. Its special elegance is recaptured in this writers edition (launched in 2001). The barrel, made of green / blue precious resin, is decorated with the writer’s signature.

The AG925 sterling silver fluted cap, provides an elegant finishing touch to this tribute to the most famous author of the Victorian era. We’ve lightly polished the silver elements, leaving only a little of the patina and we can polish it further prior to dispatch.

Charles Dickens is still one of the best-known and most frequently read authors of English literature. His unique skill for creating true pictures from words, his unerring feel for the mood of Victorian England and the power and passion of his trenchant and satirical narratives have alternately made his readers laugh and moved them to tears.

The fountain pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib and it’s a piston filler – so your choice here is bottled ink. The ballpoint will have a new refill and the pencil has 0.7mm leads.
