Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Molteni Model 55 Blue Royale Lucens Celluloid Fountain Pen, which comes with its Molteni presentation box (including branded outer) and unstamped information booklet. The pen has been lightly used and is presented in overall fantastic condition. Only 70 were produced and this is number 24.

 

 

 

 

This Blue Lucens version is known for its transparent barrel – the finish is achieved by inserting celluloid elements of the same colour as the cap in to channels inside the clear barrel – it creates an extremely eye-catching effect! The cap, section and piston cone are crafted from blue royale celluloid and the trim is rhodium-plated.

 

 

 

 

The pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib and it’s a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
