Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Goldfink by Leonardo Momento Zero Grande Arco Bronze Celluloid Bespoke Fountain Pen, which comes with its Leonardo presentation box (including outer) and bottle of ink. The pen has been very lightly used and is presented in overall fantastic condition – there is some rose gold-plating loss on the barrel rings.
Goldfink run by the legendary Tom Westerich collaborated with Leonardo on a tiny number of pens. The finished article has no cap rings and is fitted with a delightful Goldfink #8 nib.
This is the Arco Bronze celluloid version and it requires no introduction… with it being arguably the most sought-after pen material on the planet, alongside Arco Verde. With its myriad of golden brown ones, it’s a material that simply has to be seen to be fully appreciated. The arco pattern doesn’t line up perfectly between the barrel, cap and cone – we’ve shown them in their usual positions, you can turn the cap slightly tighter to close the alignment gap to the latter photo.
The pen is a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink. The pen is fitted with a 14k size #8 medium nib and it features an ebonite feed.
The important details are as follows…
With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
