Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Bexley Aloha From Hawaii Limited Edition Gold-Plated Trim Fountain Pen, which comes with its Bexley presentation box (including outer) and information booklet. The pen has been very lightly used and is presented in overall fantastic condition (a tiny bit of wear to the lettering on the clip).
Only 100 pens were produced in total (50 gold-plated trim and 50 platinum-plated trim) and this is number 042.
In 1973, Elvis Presley performed his “Aloha from Hawaii” concert for the first time, a performance viewed by a quarter of the planet. The resin barrel and cap mimick the colour of the ocean and hot shimmering sand. The gold-plated trim is engraved with turtles and waves.
The pen is fitted with an 14k medium nib (ebonite feed) and it’s a captive converter filler, so your choice here is bottled ink. The pen is not designed to be posted.
The important details are as follows…
With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller. As the Financial Times said recently in their How To Spend It publication – “izods is an e-cache of ultra fine fountain pens”.
