Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this lovely Aurora Optima Mare Limited Edition Blue Auroloide Fountain Pen and Mechanical Pencil Set, which comes with its Aurora presentation box (including outer), bottle of ink and stamped information booklet – confirming first purchase on 10th April 1998. All the writing instruments have never been used and are presented in overall excellent condition – there is some wear to the gold-plating on them, but this is still a lovely set. Only 7500 examples were produced and these are. number 0482.

The barrel and cap are crafted from a glorious shimmering green marbled auroloide, with the cap top, grip section and piston cone being black. The trim is gold-plated.

The fountain pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib and it’s a piston filler, so bottled ink is your choice here. The mechanical pencil comes with 0.7mm leads and both the rollerball and ballpoint are fitted with new refills (non-Aurora branded).
